Kley Achterhof, IP Attorney.
Mr. Achterhof's practice emphasizes intellectual property (IP) law, entrepreneurial law and the legal needs of new and growing companies. He focuses on patent, copyright, and trademark law; business entity formation; securities; and general business law. Mr. Achterhof counsels clients on IP strategy and portfolio management; provides opinions of counsel on patentability, infringement and validity; and represents clients with business litigation issues.

 

Jason Christie, Co-Founder & Director, AsiaPacific Access, LLC.
Jason Christie is bilingual (Mandarin Chinese and English) and has over ten years of business experience in Asia. He was worked in manufacturing, sales, marketing, sourcing and as a program manager. Jason lived in Beijing in 1996 and in Shanghai from 1998 thru 2002. Since 2004, Jason has spent more than half of his time in China working on client projects. His industry experience includes wireless, manufacturing, and software. Jason is co-founder and director of AsiaPacific Access, LLC. AsiaPacific Access helps companies identify, qualify, engage and manage their partners in China. Jason provides consulting and program management services to clients focused primarily on developing business relationships between China and the United States of America.

Randy Tagg, University of Colorado at Denver/Co-Director, Community Prototyping Lab.
Randy Tagg is the Associate Professor and Chair, Department of Physics, at the University of Colorado at Denver, and Co-Director of the Community Prototyping Lab. He is a recipient of 2006- 2009 Grant from National Collegiate Inventors and Innovators Alliance (NCIIA) entitled "From Science to Prototype: Out-Of-The-Box Thinking for Medical Technology". The objective of the program funded by this grant is to involve undergraduate teams in developing biomedical instrumentation. An example: a light scattering method to characterize epithelial cell layers.
